Renato Vesco

This Italian aeronautical technician claimed modern "flying saucers" are the Anglo-Canadian development of very advanced German projects, namely the circular unmanned crafts "Feuerball" and "Kugelblitz". Both of them were in the prototype stage and maybe they were even flown-tested just at the end of the war. Vesco and his impressive documentation have been often used by many later authors in order to try to substantiate their empty claims.

The very first book of Renato Vesco was published in 1968, but the original manuscript was ready since 1956. Because of job engagements he stopped its publication and went on collecting more material. So he had enough material to write three large books.

The first one had a Spanish edition and two in US (1971, Grove and 1974, Zebra), soon becoming a reference work for most but all the authors and researchers writing about the highly controversial subject of German "flying saucers". In 1994, the book was nearly fully reprinted within a book edited by D.Childress Man-Made UFOs 1944-1994.

The author was born in Arona in 1924. He died in November 1999 in Genoa, the town where he had been living for many years. Since some years he was writing a new manuscript to publish a fourth "ultimate" book.

 The huge archive of Vesco has been retrieved safely and is now preserved from destruction. The inventory should allow to find and evaluate some of the original sources used by the author.


The third book by Renato Vesco is a thick 553-page volume loaded with a real wealth of info. On the ground of some late war German projects (ie. the Norwegian-based development of the original Belluzzo's blueprints and the German atom bomb project) and post-war British breakthroughs in aeronautics and astronautics, he pointed out a fascinating but hard-to-believe scenario.

British spaceships had been built after blueprints and technology captured in Germany and flown since 1947. In 1951 they landed on the Moon and in 1954 they reached Mars. Though these claims look quite unlikely and unsubstantiated, most of the evidence and sources offered by Vesco lead to some interesting considerations about German secret technology and some late '40s and '50s UFO sightings.
Following the Canadian Avro Car project rumours, many magazines of the early '50s published news about soon-to-come man-made "flying saucers". Vesco found in these rumours more background for his theory.

 Just following the fast diffusion of the "flying saucer" concept as the ultimate high-performance aircraft or spacecraft, many lonely inventors and government-funded projects started to develop drawings or - less often - early prototypes of circular machines.

Besides the official AVRO project, there were tens of inventors with plans of fantastic flying machines, often related to revolutionary discoveries with anti-gravity.

The concept of the "man-made flying saucer" was really exciting and even welcome in an era of fast technological advancements. The wonders of science and technology of the atomic age could well explain even a dream-machine like the flying saucer.

I'm sure that you have read about a scientist named Nikola Tesla. It was his work in science that had brought about modern day UFOs. He and Viktor Schauberger were the superstars of this new flying disc technology. In WWll, the Nazi's had relied heavily on Tesla's research to create what bomber pilots called "Foo Fighters," or "Kraut Balls." When trying to bomb the Rhine land, these glowing objects would fly right up to the bombers at incredible speeds never seen before or imagined. These Foo Fighters had an ability to screw up their radar so that the American pilots would have to call off the mission. After they were out of the area, the "balls of coloured lights" would suddenly take off on their merry way. This is all well documented and there are even some photos that exist today.

The following is from an article called "UFOs Alien or Man Made" written by Al Pinto.

Maybe these craft are some secret government project. There is a lot of evidence indicating this which dates back to WWII. There is a report by Marshall Yarrow, then the Reuters special correspondent to Supreme H.Q. in liberated Paris. This article was published in the South Wales Argus on December 13, 1944. It stated:

The Germans have produced a 'secret' weapon in keeping with the Christmas season. The new device, which is apparently an air defence weapon, and resembles the glass balls that adorn Christmas trees. They have been seen hanging in the air over German territory, sometimes singly, sometimes in clusters. They are coloured silver and are apparently transparent.


Another article regarding the German's secret craft was released by the Associated Press in the New York Herald Tribune dated January 2, 1945

It said:

Now, it seems, the Nazis have thrown something new into the night skies over Germany. It is the weird, mysterious 'Foo Fighter' balls which race alongside the wings of fighters flying intruder missions over Germany.

Pilots have been encountering this eerie weapon for more than a month in their night flights. No one apparently knows what this sky weapon is. The balls of fire appear suddenly and accompany the planes for miles. They seem to be radio controlled from the ground, so official intelligence reports reveal...

So why didn't the Nazi's win the war with the new Foo Fighter technology? Well just like the German V-2 Rockets and the new Nazi jets, time had run out. The allies were moving in and the war was being end. Hitler pleaded with the German people to hang on for just two more months so that he release a new technology of "super weapons." Well as you know, time did in fact run out.

When the allies moved in they began to plunder all the new super technology.

America began to be the benefactors of this new technology when the war ended in 1945. Two years later in 1947, Kenneth Arnold a pilot sees high speed flying discs. He said they moved like a saucer skipping on water thus the age of "Flying Saucers" was born.

One scientist responsible for the Nazi flying saucers was Viktor Schauberger. With Tesla's work in hand he began to create new and different designs. After the Soviets had taken what the Americans had left behind in Schauberger's apartment in Leonstein, the Soviets then bombed his apartment. After this there was a rumour that Schauberger had gone on to work on a top secret project for the U.S. Government in Texas.

In the early Fifties science was suddenly geared into "anti-gravity" research. Many experiments with flying discs were taking place. Some results were being talked about in science magazines and news papers. Then suddenly in the late 50's the hammer of silence fell. All grant money was being cut off and the media instantly became mute on the subject of this new technology that now had to go underground. It even got to a point where a large number of scientists were falling victim to strange accidents. Schauberger himself had died of ill health. On his deathbed he declared that, "They took everything from me. Everything. I don't even own myself. “When flying saucers had been photographed during flaps, upon seeing them, Schauberger had made it clear that someone out there was using his designs.

In 1947 when Kenneth Arnold spotted the UFOs, the air force was placed on red alert and quickly dispatched. The reason given was that the American government thought it was a new attack by the Nazis and their Foo Fighters. Photographs and blueprints of Nazi discs now started to appear. In one photo, the German cross can be clearly seen. In another you can see a German tank cannon attached to the underside of the craft.

Before the hammer of media silence fell, A Canadian news paper, the Toronto Star, (February 11. 1953) began to report on the new technology being produced by Avro a Canadian company. The paper had revealed that Avro was working on a "Flying Saucer" that could "climb straight up in the air." (This is not to be confused with the Avro Car which was shaped liked a flying saucer." The source of information for this eye opening article was C.D. Howe, Minister of defence production.

By April 21st 1953, The Toronto Star had stated that Field Marshall Montgomery had witnessed a demonstration of the new Avro Flying Saucer and declared the demonstration as being "fantastic."

Again on Movember 1st 1955, the Star had another article that had stated, "A mock-up of the Canadian flying saucer. The highly secret aircraft in whose existence few believe, was yesterday shown to a group of American experts, including military officers and scientists." Why were the Americans there? According to the papers, the Canadian government was planning to form entire squadrons of flying saucers for the defence of Alaska.

So why hasn't the government made known this new revolutionary technology. Why, is because one of the other effects that the anti-gravity devices produce is massive amounts of electricity, hundreds of thousands of volts! This is known as "free energy." This kind of electricity is broadcasted out and so does not need wires of any kind. This is why quite often when "UFOs" are seen in an area, all the appliances in a household magically come on.

The world is run by a few super rich people that have untold wealth. At the very heart of this wealth is oil, "black gold." If free energy technology was to be used by the public, these rich elites would stand to loose trillions of dollars in lost revenue. Over night the technology of jets, planes, cars, trains, manufacturing, and space flight would become obsolete. NASA's pork space projects would come to an end. The Military Industrial Complex would take massive revenue losses. The lost revenue from NASA, the defence companies, and the entire Military Industrial Complex, oil and gas companies, and electric companies would dry up considerably. In other words, free energy would kill the golden goose.

Imagine this. For pennies man could fly to the moon in flying discs. Tax payers would no longer foot the bill for huge expenses, kick backs and over-pricing in NASA and the military. No longer would the public be fleeced by the Military Industrial Complex to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars. International bankers too have a major share of this cash cow and would stand to loose massive amounts of money, never mind the auto industries. People could run their cars, heat their homes, and travel very cheaply. Paying for energy would almost be a thing of the past. Lightning produces hundreds of millions of volts of electricity from the air itself and has no need of dams, cable, ground stations, electric companies, etc. The crux of this international plot is too keep us convinced that energy comes from fossil fuels. This propaganda creates a world that suffers from an "artificial need" for oil that allows the elites to be very rich and very powerful. "He who has the gold rules."

So what does the government do with these flying saucers. Right now they are being built and stored all over the world. Cold Lake Alberta in Canada has an underground manufacturing plant much like America has with it's Area 51 in Nevada. Right now the elites are trying to bring about a New World Order. The New World Order is a one world government set up under the United Nations with a new world dictator acting as commander and chief. The foundation of power for this Reich is already in place. Now they just have to convince the people to relinquish all their constitutional rights and surrender to the New World Order. Most people are not willing to do this as they see the New World Order as a threat to their way of life. This is why Militia memberships are at an all time high and growing everyday. So how does the flying saucer technology fit in to all this?

America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing that man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the world government.

Remember how President Ronald Reagan had stated that if we were attacked by a power from outer space the world would then unite into one? In 1985 President Reagan told Mikhail Gorbachev at a Geneva summit meeting that:

I couldn't help but say to him, just how easy his task and mine might be in these meetings that we held if suddenly there was a threat to this world from another species from another planet outside in the universe. We'd forget all the little local differences that we have between our countries and we would find out once and for all that we really are all human beings here on the Earth together.

It's interesting to note here how he uses the word "people" from other planets and not the word creatures or aliens. Does he use the word people because he feels that they will look so much like us? Will they in fact be human pilots. Aliens from the Pentagon so to speak.

On January 7th, 1948 a UFO was spotted in Kentucky and Three F-51 Mustang fighter planes under the command of Captain Thomas Mantel gave chase. Two of the planes had to turn back as Mantel continued in hot pursuit. Unfortunately Captain Mantel's radio degraded to a point where it became silent. The next morning the wreckage of his fighter plane was found strewn all all over the ground. According to Renato Vesco and David Childress authors of Man Made UFOs 1944-1994, Mantel's last words over the radio were, "My God! There are men in it!" Perhaps aliens from planet earth?

As I have stated, the whole foundation to this new world government is now in place. It's no longer a question of how, but a question of when. What's needed now is for the elite government to release all the man-made UFOs so that people will be convinced that we are being invaded from another world. But first the masses have to be prepared psychologically for for this event.

Right now there is a massive media frenzy about UFOs as well as NASA claiming to have found evidence of life on Mars. Movies like Independence Day and TV shows such as Dark Skies are spreading the message that Aliens are hostile and will stop at nothing to in order to conquer us all.

Timed to go with this propaganda blitz is the Roswell Anniversary. With
Roswell they are trying to convince us that an alien ship crashed landed in the Nevada desert killing all the aliens aboard. Myth has it that the alien bodies have been kept under lock and key by the American government. Through Roswell, the government is trying to make it appear that they have a captured alien UFO. If you study the CIA and how they operate, you will soon discover how very good they are at creating myths.

So why the myth that the government is hiding the fact that they have a captured UFO? Well it's for two reasons. One is to convince people that there really is life out there. The other reason is that when all of a sudden we see all these UFOs hovering over the city to scare us in to a New World Order, other UFOs (our UFOs) will suddenly appear in the skies to fight in a mock battle.

So how will the American government explain the sudden emergence of this "new" UFO technology that comes out of nowhere? They will say, "Yes folks. The Roswell incident was true. It's also true that we have been "back-engineering" a captured craft in area Area 51. The crafts that you see with the American flags painted on them belong to us and from the Area 51 development centre". This will act as a perfect explanation as to why all of a sudden we have our own UFOs to fight back with. This phony war will be a sure propaganda victory a New World Order Dictator.

According to the Bible, it says:

We, because of the infinitesimal size of the Universe, can quite easily say that the probability of the Earth being the only planet inhabited by intelligent beings is not logical. However, while there is research going on today in order to prove the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) by listening in on the radio waves of space, I wonder: Have we been contacted already? Is there something in the UFO phenomenon that proves the existence of extraterrestrials?

Let's look at the facts.

Thousands of people from all around the world report the sightings of strange aerial phenomenon every year. It has been going on for many years, but not as much as from 1947 to present. Due to the fact that so many people have seen objects in the sky that they can't identify, we could at least admit that there is sufficient reason to believe that UFO's exist. We can't scientifically prove their existence just based on that fact but we can't ignore it either. So our next logical step would be to get more data.

Is the origin of all UFO's extraterrestrial? Is there a possibility that at least some may come from Earth and Earth technology? The answer to that question is yes, some are Earth originated.

People can easily mistake a plane or helicopter flying at night as a UFO and have already. Some even thought that Venus was one. However, while most UFO's could be explained, there are an astonishing number of reports that cannot. They include reports from people such as police chiefs, scientists, pilots, and most interestingly, astronauts. There is plenty of information publicly available that is reputable about details of their encounters.

Our next step should be to concentrate on these unexplainable sightings. Out of these, is it still possible that the object could come from Earth? Dr. Renato Vesco thought so. In his book Intercept UFO, he writes about his experience and information with Nazi Germany.

Renato Vesco is a fully licensed aircraft engineer and a specialist in aerospace and ramjet developments. He attended the University of Rome and, before WWII, studied at the German Institute for Aerial Developement. During the war, Vesco worked with the Germans at the Fiat Lake Garda secret installations in Italy. In the 1960's, he worked for the Italian Air Ministry of Defense as an undercover technical agent, investigating the UFO mystery.

He writes:

On November 27, 1944, a B- 27 of the United States Air Force, returning from a raid on Speyer, West Germany, encountered a huge, orange colored light moving upward at an estimated speed of 500 MPH. When the pilots reported, sector radar had reported negatively, because nothing had registered on the screen. But the object seen by the returning bomber was only the first of numerous others spotted by American pilots over wartime Germany and promptly baptized 'foo-fighters.'

Fighter pilots Falls and Backer of the 415th Squadron, reported such an encounter a month later forcing the Air Force to admit that such objects might exist. Later encounters with foo fighters led experts to assume they were German inventions of a new order employed to baffle radar. How close they came to the truth, they learned only when the war was over and Allied Intelligence teams moved into the secret Nazi plants. The foo-fighters seen by American pilots were only a minor demonstration, a fraction of a vast variety of methods used to confuse radar and interrupt electro magnetic currents.

Work on the German anti-radar Feuerball, or fireball, had been speeded up during the fall of 1944 at a Luftwaffe experimental center near Oberammergau, Bavaria. There, and at the aeronautical establishment at Wiener Neustadt, the first fireballs were produced. Later, when the Russians moved closer to Austria, the workshops producing the fireballs were moved to Black Forest.

Fast and remote controlled, the fireballs, equipped with kliston tubes and operating on the same frequency as Allied radar, could eliminate the blips from screens and remain practically invisible to ground control. The Nazi Feuerball failed to interfere with the Allied air offensive. The foo fighters had been launched too late and could no longer change the course of events, but in themselves they were significant not only because they were the outcome of a technical evolution which could have led to more dangerous weapons, but also because they showed that Nazi technology had moved in a direction far beyond anything expected by Allied Intelligence.

As the fall of Germany approached, the Nazi Leaders reverted to an ambitious project created by Gauleiter Franz Hofer who had become high commissioner for the Italian Tyrol and the Southern Alps. The project foresaw setting up an incredible fortress in the mountains, including parts of Italy, Austria and Bavaria. Hofer submitted his plan to Hitler's aide, Martin Bormann in November 1944, but he had prepared for this moment back in 1938 when Nazi agents carefully mapped all mountain passes, caves, bridges, highways, and located sights for underground factories, munitions dumps, arms and food caches. To complete work on this fortress, Hofer demanded a slave labor force of a quarter of a million, 70% Austrian workers and 30% men of the Tyrolese home guard. So-called U-Plants were to be set up underground as gigantic workshops and launching pads for the secret weapons which were to turn the tide of the war in favor of the Nazis. Among these were some 74 tunnels along Lake Garda, in Northern Italy, which were to be adapted and transformed into a vast assembly plant by FIAT of Turin in close collaboration with the department of Minister Albert Speer. Seven other tunnels along Lake Garda, near Limone, were to produce several weapons tested at the Hermann Göring Institute of Riva del Garda.

According to the archives of the German High Command and of the Allied Combined Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee, other plants in vital areas of Central Germany, code named M-Werke, were to produce powerful missiles such as the giant A.9/A.10 destined to destroy New York and Washington. But most important was the Alpine area, for it was from there that the supreme weapons were to come.

This report, never released by the Allies, was made by a French diplomat. It was forwarded to Free French Intelligence Headquarters at Algiers. The top secret report referred to the blue clouds as something approaching anti-air craft projectiles based on the grisou (fire damp) gas found in mines, and which had been successfully tried against other bombers over Lake Garda. The French report was intercepted by Italian agents and deciphered at SID (Italian Counter-Intelligence) Headquarters at Castiglione della Stiviere. The message was later captured by a military intelligence team operating for the eighth Army in Italy.

The contents of the message was no novelty to the Allies. Already, some time ago, shortly after the bombing of Dresden, British and American intelligence had obtained a brief account concerning the use of some such weapon used against a group of twelve American bombers. That message, which came from an agent in Switzerland attached to Allen Dulles’ team, also stated the attacker had been a "strange hemispherical object which flew at fantastic speeds and destroyed the bombers without using firearms.' Then, after the German surrender in May, 1945, a team of British agents, investigating the files of some of the underground factories in Black Forest, discovered that a large number of documents concerned 'important experiments made with liquid oxygen for new turbine engines capable of developing extraordinary power.' Other documents described the use of 'gaseous explosives' which had been originally tested in Austria in 1936. Their existence was later confirmed by the ALSOS Mission and by Dr. Hans Friedrich Gold, of the Laboratory for Aeronautical Research at Volkenrode.

The ejection of gas explosives had been part of the program tackled by researchers on Lake Garda and later tested with success by the circular flying object against Allied bombers. This object, in German military files, already had an operational name: 'Round Lightning' (Kugelblitz) Long and close observation between the special Air Research Corps of the SS, Austrian research centers in Vienna, the Hermann Göring Works and the vast complex of underground G-Works had previously produced amazing improvement on the fireball or foo-fighter which, despite it's anti-radar effectiveness, remained comparatively harmless. But by combining the principle of the aircraft with a round, symmetrical plane with direct gyroscopic stabilization, employing an ejector-gun using grisou and a gelatinous organic/metallic fuel for a total reaction turbine, adding remote control, vehicle take off, infrared seeking equipment and electrostatic firing systems, the harmless fireball became the lethal Kugelblitz!

Believe me, I can prove what I say.

The Kugelblitz, to be on the safe side, employed, in addition to it's electrostatic firing system, a similar system based on short waves and built by the Patent Verwertungs Gesellschaft of Salzburg, Austria. The whole thing formed one compact, round mass which had absolutely nothing in common with any flying object ever produced before.

In documents found by British Intelligence teams and submitted to the British Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee - documents which I have been able to study - these and many other details are known. They can be found in the Sub-Committee's Final Report Number 61 on the 'Weapons Section of the L.F.A., Volkenrode. Kugelblitz, together with its younger brothers of the fireball, lens shaped bomb and other weapons, began the real history of the UFOs. In itself, it was a second generation fireball. The 'round lightning' weapon, the incredibly fast and mysterious disk-shaped craft that had been rumored and sighted in action, was used only once.

As the Allied forces crossed the Rhine, the only craft of it's type was destroyed by the SS on instructions from Berlin, to prevent it's capture. But ever since, due to the severe censorship imposed by 'T' force of the British Army in Germany, and later, thanks to the complete blackout imposed by London, nothing more was heard of Round Lightning.

I know that agents of the 'T' force camp at Bad Gandersheim closely examined the documents found in the G-Works, documents which had been elaborated by the technical general staff of the SS and by technical control of the Henschel and Zeppelin works.

These documents concern the propulsion unit of the Kugelblitz prototype built by the Kreislaufbetrieb Motor D.W. in 1943 for the F.F.K.F. (Forschungsinstitut for Kraftfahrt and Fahrzeugmotoren) at Stuttgart-Untertürkheim and perfected by Professors Kamm and Ernst.

The British called this motor an 'oxygen recycle system.' It was later abandoned in favor of the Walter turbine, powered by hydrogen peroxide. The documents found discussed the possibility of using both systems in a compound-type propulsion unit. To these basic facts, I must add: A mass of documents and equipment were taken by British 'T' teams to Bedford and then to Canada and Australia.

In a certain sense, the British were more intelligent than the Americans, for they permitted German scientists to complete their work in Germany on the site where they had worked all through the war - only, of course, under close supervision. This happened at Darmstadt and Göttingen.

Later on, these installations were dismantled and shipped to Britain. The Transport Service of the British Ministry of Aviation discreetly shipped the scientists and documents to Britain, Canada and Australia, in successive phases. Lists of the scientists to be sent overseas had been compiled in the spring of 1944 by the B.I.O.S. and formed separate and specialized teams.

One such team, composed of Professor Ben Lockspeiser and W.J. Richards, Dr. S.H. Hollingdale and Captain A.D. Green, handled 'advanced projects, missiles, jet and turbine craft.' Another, including T.A. Taylor and M.A. Wheeler, investigated German advances in the field of Thermo-refraction. Another team, which obtained the services of Dr. Ernst Westermann, former director of the F.D.R.P. Institutes of Speyer and Saarbrücken, concentrated on the fireball projects. The then Ministry of Aircraft Production, similar to the German wartime Jägerstab, ceased to exist officially on March 31, 1946, and became part of the Ministry of Supply.

In the years that followed, these teams, and especially the experts headed by Professor Lockspeiser, worked on a multitude of German projects, adapting these to their own experiments in the field of 'suction' wings and on the work of two German scientists during the war, Professors Prandtl and Busemann, to develop a high speed fighter in which the air intake along the wings was discharged through a half-moon-shaped crescent along the fuselage in order to both drive and support the vehicle at high speeds.

This research comes to mind when one remembers the incident of January 3, 1956. A Cessna, employed on a job of aerial photography near Pasadena, encountered three circular flying objects which circled it at a speed of 1600 mph and at a distance of two miles. One of these objects, in suddenly breaking away from the formation, gave off a long, vaporous trail as it sped through a cumulous cloud, cutting the cloud in two. 'Exactly as if it had sucked up the cloud.,' the Cessna pilot exclaimed later.

Back in 1946, the British Broadcasting Corporation announced that Britain 'would soon have aircraft capable of speeds well over 1000 mph, that, according to some experts, such craft had already been built and that, in the near future, they could circumnavigate the globe several times because they needed only fuel for take off and landing..' Other British sources mentioned aircraft capable of speeds of several thousand miles an hour.

More than twenty years have passed since the otherwise so-eminently-careful BBC boasted of 'Britain's planes of the future,' and officially these aircraft still remain little more than a dream. And yet, did not Ben Lockspeiser, the man who was in charge of the most responsible 'T' teams, declare that 'such craft would need no fuel?' Did he not imply that such craft would gain their own propellant from the atmosphere by suction and expulsion?

On June 26, 1953, an intensely luminous flying object majestically crossed the night sky of Albacete, Spain, at an altitude of 60 miles.

In Britain, scientific papers produced by members of the 'T' teams showed suggestive titles such as 'Boundary Layer Flow Over a Permeable Surface Through Which Suction is Applied' (J.H. Preston), 'The Aerodynamics of Porous Sheets' by G.J. Taylor, and Pankhurst's Aerofoil Catalogue.

In 1959, aeronautical engineer N.S. Currey wrote: 'Canada today must be counted among the most advanced aeronautical powers in the world,' and added cautiously, 'This refers above all to the field of jet propulsion.' The Canadian Department of Mines and the Technical Surveys Mapping Branch reserved a vast area - 125,000 square miles - for production of experimental aircraft. This was one of the decisions reached by the committees of the Commonwealth Conference on Aeronautical Research.

This desolate, heavily wooded and mountainous region between British Columbia and Alberta, with the Peace River district as it's Northern frontier and Washington State to the South, was an ideal location - few and easily controlled roads, few settlements, few railroads, but good communications in the north and the south via the trunk line from Prince George to Edmonton and that from Vancouver to the United States border, and only one major highway, the Alaska. Britain already had considerable wartime experience in this sort of enterprise.

In 1942, at the height of the German raids, the RAF had set up five secret airports in the very heart of the New Forest, in Hampshire. The big thing about these installations was the fact that they included complete industrial plants, decentralizing major groups essential for war production. They were called 'shade workshops.' The Germans, too, had much experience in this field. One of their major plants at Volkenrode resisted all attempts at aerial identification throughout the war.

Neither the British nor the Americans, on an official level, saw eye to eye in scientific matters at the close of the war against Germany and afterward. The United States' refusal to share atomic secrets with Britain was never quite forgotten in Whitehall, and Britain set out to prove, with Canada, that she was well able to produce her own fission bomb. If Congress steadfastly accused the British of giving little or nothing in return for information, the British felt they had been mistrusted and severely neglected. They preferred to go ahead with their plans in Canada.

The fact that the area has been photographed again and again by high altitude reconnaissance planes, both U.S. and Russian, does not perturb the Canadian or British authorities. The plants and saucer ports are underground, hidden in primeval forests of Columbia.

The question immediately arises: Why have not Britain and Canada made such craft available to their other partners in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization?

I believe there may be many answers to such a question, but one of the main points is this: Lack of confidence and fear of being exploited remain rife among the nations, as they are among people. And why should not Britain and her Commonwealth partner retain one major trump card which, one day, may become invaluable?

The pooling of scientific secrets is rarely entirely sincere.

All the evidence, all the know how of British scientists before and during the last war, combined with the astounding progress in propulsion and the discoveries in suction aircraft of the Germans, based on 18 years of research into the most secret documents of the past war, have convinced me of one thing: The flying saucers do not come from space. They come from a few hundred miles outside the United States. They mean no harm, and Washington knows this. Hence the long standing order to all U.S. Air Force pilots: ‘Intercept - but do not fire upon.’

This article, which appeared in Argosy Magazine in August, 1969, is reprinted in its entirety. It is important because it is one of the few reports that goes into detail about the revolutionary technical advancements made by the Nazis in the field of aeronautical research.

Unfortunately, Vesco doesn't offer any real substantiation for the existence of the Kugelblitz, which is the crux of his subject. However, in his book Intercept, UFO, he tells us that the Kugelblitz was indeed tested some time in February, 1945 over the great underground complex at Kahla, in Thuringia. Both the Kugelblitz and the Feuerball were then destroyed by the retreating S.S.

So, could this story be considered fact? We have to take into consideration a number of issues. First and foremost, there are the Nazis. Could they have been developing craft of such advancement? History has it that not only were they at war, which required much in the way of manpower, but they took on incredible projects such as constructing huge underground complexes at Nordhausen in the Harz mountains, Pennemünde and others. They also had their naval vessels provide support for a very detailed study of the Antartic in which they were alleged to have been building underground bases there as well.

Heinrich Himmler, was quite frankly, a madman. He believed in obedience, controlled breeding and vivisection of humans. He believed in biological mutation and what could be produced with it. He used the slaves for his work force, as well as specimens for research.

The theory that UFOs and related matters, are extraterrestrial is being shoved down our throats. It seems that since we want to hear about EBE's, the so-called, Intelligence Community, is giving us just what we want to hear.

The possibility of technology (Earth Technology) exists that could explain UFO's and the reason why it is above top secret.

A lot of people like to cite Renato Vesco as a source of 'reputable information'. This is largely based on the belief that he was supposed to have been was a licensed pilot and a fully-licensed aircraft engineer, who specialised in aerospace and ramjet developments.

The same biographers frequently claimed that he attended the University of Rome and, before World War II, studied at the German Institute for Aerial Development; and that during the war he worked with the Germans at Fiat’s secret Lake Garda installations, in Italy.

He is said to have become a senior member of the Italian Association of Aerotechnics in 1943 and, in 1944, to have commanded the technical section of the Italian Air Force. In 1946–47 Vesco, served in the Reparto Tecnico Caccia and during the 1960s, worked for the Italian Air Ministry of Defense as an undercover technical agent, investigating the UFO mystery.

Unfortunately, Vesco was born in 1924. World War II started in 1939.

• How could he have attended the University of Rome and studied at the German Institute for Aerial Development by the time he was 14 or 15 years old?

• How likely is it that he was a senior member of the Italian Association of Aerotechnics since the ripe old age of 18 or 19?

• How did he come to command 'the technical section of the Italian Air Force' by the time he was 19 or 20 years old?

The highly-respected Italian researcher Maurizio Verga — who actually met Vesco — gives a quite different accounting of Vesco's life and activities:

• Between 1942 and 1944, he submitted a 50-page proposal for a stratospheric fast jet-fighter to the Luftwaffe in Gallarate. His tender was tacitly rebuffed.

• In 1943 he joined the MVSN, presumably to fight the Allied invasion of his homeland. Not long after, though, Italy capitulated.

• He promptly volunteered for the Air Force of the 'Repubblica di Salò'. Instead of becoming a pilot, however, he was immediately put to work in an office, as a bookkeeper. He was only allowed to fly toward the end of the war, when the situation grew sufficiently desperate.

• After the war, he joined the new Italian Air Force. In spite of the fact that he had actually flown in combat, he was made a private. As such, he was stationed at the Galatina airfield, near Lecce in southern Italy, until July 1947.

• Between 1956 and the early 1960s, he worked as an engine technician aboard various merchant ships.

• He returned to Genoa in the mid-1960s, where he lived as a recluse until the day he died.
